"Who is Daphne?"

Daphne is a small flower that blooms in spring and whose subtle fragrance can travel a long way. Although it isn't very showy, its sweet scent brings happiness to people!

In September 2022, two florists, Benjamin Jouet and Ji-Eun Baek, opened Daphnée Fleuriste on Rue de Bourgogne, located in the heart of Paris's 7th arrondissement. By showcasing little-known but locally present flowers and plants, they offer a variety of creations. Their goal is to broadly convey the beauty of flowers and the power of nature.

Presentation of Benjamin Jouet, florist

Benjamin Jouet grew up in Provence, surrounded by flowers and lavender fields, picking wildflowers to make bouquets for his grandmother.
After graduating in horticulture and landscaping, Benjamin Jouet had the privilege of working for magnificent gardens in the south of France: Chartreuse de Villeneuve-lès-Avignon (cultural and entertainment center, historic monument), Domaine de Murtoli (luxury residences), Harmas Jean-Henri Fabre (Natural History Museum)
After living in France for several years, Benjamin went to work in the antipodes, in Australia, New Zealand, then in Hong Kong and Japan.

After working for several years as a landscape gardener, Benjamin decided to become a florist, and went to work in Hong Kong and Japan for high-end weddings, and to give floral art classes for beginners and professionals. Benjamin Jouet recently left to work in Seoul, South Korea to give classes there .

Inspired by his childhood and his experience abroad, through sublime gardens, nature, and the arts. Benjamin Jouet pays particular attention to details and uses all this experience as a source of inspiration for his creations; making his style unique .

Introducing Ji-Eun Baek, Florist

Drawn to the beauty of nature, floral culture, and art of France, Ji-Eun Baek earned her vocational certificate in floristry and gained seven years of experience in several flower shops in Paris. She favors a natural style, but often uses bright, vibrant colors.

A former nurse, she discovered the power of flowers by observing the joy of patients receiving bouquets, a joy that spread to those around them. Passionate about art since childhood, where she was always in charge of classroom decorations, she decided to change careers to express this passion through flowers.

Ji-Eun Baek strives to infuse her enthusiasm and creativity into every floral arrangement she makes.

By showcasing lesser-known flowers and plants that surround us, they offer diverse creations. Their goal is to share the beauty of flowers and the power of nature with a wider audience.

Benjamintoy was born in Provence, and grew up in a beautiful natural environment, surrounded by fields of flowers and lavender. As a kid, he used to pick up flowers to make bouquets for his beloved grandmother.
Upon graduating from university with a degree in horticulture and landscaping, Benjamin Cadeau had the privilege to work for beautiful gardens in the South of France such as Chartreuse de Villeuneuve lès Avignon (cultural center, historic monument) Domaine de Murtoli (luxury resort), and Harmas Jean Henri Fabre (Museum of Natural History).
After living in France for years, Benjamin moved to the far East to work in beautiful private gardens in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Japan.
After years of working in the field of landscaping, he decided to become a florist, and moved to Hong Kong and Japan to work for high class weddings and delivered French-style arrangement classes to beginners and professionals. Benjamintoy recently worked as a florist and flower arrangement instructor in Seoul, Korea.
His inspiration originated from both his childhood and his experiences abroad, and stemmed from dramatic gardens, nature, and arts. Benjamintoy cares for details and emphasizes the use of fresh flowers in arrangements, making his style unique and outstanding.

Drawn to the beauty of nature, France's floral culture, and its art, Ji-Eun Baek earned her CAP diploma in floristry and gained 7 years of experience working in various flower shops in Paris. She favors a natural style but often incorporates vibrant and bold colors into her designs.

A former nurse, she discovered the transformative power of flowers by witnessing the joy they brought to patients who received bouquets, a joy that radiated to those around them. Passionate about art since her childhood, where she was always in charge of classroom decorations, she decided to change her career to channel that passion through flowers.

Ji-Eun Baek strives to imbue her enthusiasm and creativity into every floral arrangement she creates.

2022년 9월, 벤자민 주에와 백지은이 오픈한 다프네 플로리스트. 우리 주위에 있지만 잘 모르는 꽃, 식물들로 다양한 디자인을 선보여 꽃의 아름다움과 자연이 주는 힘을 널리 전할 수 있는 플로리스트가 되겠습니다.

플로리스트 벤자민 주에

벤자민 주에는 라벤더 밭과 꽃으로 둘러쌓인 프로방스에서 태어나 머니를 위한 부케를 만들어주며 자랐습니다.
원예와 조경 디플로마를 수료한 후, 남프랑스(Chartreuse de Villeneuve-lès-Avignon)와 뮤톨리(Murtoli), 파브르 곤충기의 저자인 앙리 파브르 박물관등 여러 아름다운 정원에서 일했습니다. 뉴질랜드, 홍콩, 그리고 일본으로 가서 일을 하며 여러 나라의 식물과 정원 스타일을 접했습니다.
조경 정원사로서의 커리어를 쌓던 중, 홍콩과 일본에서 고급 웨딩 전문 플로리스트들고 Page 되었습니다. 벤자민 주에는 여러 나라의 정원과 자연, 예술을 접하며 얻은 영감을 꽃에 녹여 그만의 독특한 플라워 스타일을 완성했습니다.
